Introduction Page with a photo, a paragraph about yourself and 5 of your favorite quotes about education or technology and the Assignments Page including the following (some may be posted to the 5-day Unit): Wiki Tour Response, Digital Citizenship/Literacy Activity, PLN Activity, Content Types, Screencasts, Flipped Videos, Original Source Contact, Google Quiz/Survey, Skype Activity (30%).
5-Day UnitEach page will have a Lesson Plan (your choice of template but it must be able to be used to conduct the lesson) and embedded materials--at least 2 per page (40%). Also, one page for resources for references for any outside materials you use such as activity sheets, media or multimedia. Post URLs to pages where you have gotten information and resources
The CECA Assignment
View the winning entries for the //Connecticut Educators Computer Association// (CECA) awards from 2007—2013. Those are examples of award winning projects from the last few years. See if there are things there that spark your interest in a particular activity of project. At the end of the course you will be filling out an application on paper linked on that page (but online submission is optional).
Identify a topic you will teach next semester and think of it as a 5-day unit. You will integrate technology into those lessons. You can use some of the CECA projects as idea sparkers. If you aren't teaching contact me ASAP (sponderb@ccsu.edu). If you have little technology in your class and your school, no matter, you can still bring technology into your classroom (10%).

1. Unit implementation and write-up: A write-up of the project. a. What did you do (details)? How did you do it (details)? Problems (details)? Successes (details)? Lessons Learned (details)? b. Samples of student work (3-4). c. Length? 5 pages maximum excluding student work, title page and references. d. Not teaching? Alternative arrangements for can be made on a case-by-case basis. (10%)
